This tour usually alternates each year between rafting on the faster-running, colder Middle Fork section of the Salmon River and the somewhat less intense but always fun Main Salmon River Wilderness section (as noted by dates above). A rafting trip launch may be a designated LGBTQ-specific tour for “River Pride”. Or it may be a more open, yet LGBTQ welcoming, Food and Wine launch, which usually happens on the Main Salmon River.
