International Travel Update: Middle East Flight Routes and HE Travel Tours

March 9, 2026 by Zachary Moses

Global Flight Map HE Travel Gay Tours

As many travelers have seen in the news, the current conflict in parts of the Middle East has raised understandable questions about international travel routes and airline connections.
At HE Travel, the safety and comfort of our travelers is always our top priority. Our team actively monitors global travel conditions and works closely with airline partners to ensure that all tour itineraries continue to operate safely and smoothly.

Latest Travel Update:

Latest Update – March 2026
Airlines continue adjusting certain routes as a precaution in response to the conflict in the Middle East. These adjustments are normal operational decisions that airlines make whenever airspace conditions change.

HE Travel has already proactively adjusted traveler connections where necessary to avoid affected Middle Eastern airports and airspace. Our tours and destinations remain fully operational, and travelers should expect their journeys to proceed normally.

Is International Travel Still Safe Right Now?

Yes. International travel continues to operate normally across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Global airline networks are extremely adaptable and regularly adjust routes in response to weather, airspace restrictions, or regional events. In the current situation, airlines have simply rerouted certain flight paths to avoid specific airspace areas.
For travelers, this usually means only minor routing changes, such as connecting through different international hubs.

Are Airlines Rerouting Flights Around the Middle East?

In some cases, yes. Airlines have adjusted certain routes to avoid specific areas of Middle Eastern airspace. This is a routine safety measure in international aviation. Airlines frequently adjust flight paths in response to changing conditions. HE Travel works closely with airline partners and travel providers to ensure that all traveler routes follow the safest and most efficient options available.

What HE Travel Has Already Done

Out of an abundance of caution, HE Travel has proactively rerouted traveler connections that would normally pass through certain Middle Eastern airports. Where necessary, travelers are being routed through alternative international hubs in Europe and other regions. These adjustments ensure that travelers can reach their destinations without connecting through areas affected by the conflict. Our operations team monitors global travel advisories and airline updates daily to ensure that our itineraries continue to operate smoothly.

Destinations Currently Operating Normally

Many of HE Travel’s most popular destinations remain completely unaffected by the Middle East conflict. Our tours across Europe, Asia, and the Americas continue to operate normally, and travelers are currently enjoying their journeys around the world.

Popular destinations currently operating normally include:

  • Greece – Explore our Greece LGBTQ tours.
  • Italy – Explore our Italy LGBTQ tours.
  • Spain – Explore our Spain LGBTQ tours.
  • Japan – Explore our Japan Tours
  • Thailand – Explore our Thailand and Southeast Asia LGBTQ tours.

Explore our upcoming LGBTQ group tours to these destinations and beyond.

Our Approach to Travel Safety: With over 50 years of experience organizing international group tours, HE Travel has navigated countless global events and changing travel conditions. Our operations team continually monitors developments around the world and works with trusted airline and travel partners to ensure that our travelers enjoy safe, comfortable, and well-organized journeys.

When necessary, we make adjustments proactively so travelers can focus on enjoying their experience rather than worrying about logistics.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are flights still connecting through Dubai, Qatar or Doha?

Yes, airlines continue to operate through many international hubs. However, where appropriate, HE Travel has adjusted routing to avoid certain Middle Eastern connection points.
