Overview
This Costa Rica gay travel adventure really is a dream. We’ll travel together to a magical hideaway in the midst of the dry rainforest. Once here we’ll enjoy a multitude of activities, all of which are included in our tour. Our accommodations in the tropical forest and along the pristine Pacific Coast are some of the most luxurious in the region with modern amenities and facilities. We’ll fill our days full of adventure and our evenings with relaxation, good food, and conversation. We’ll experience a country that is proud of its ecological preservation balanced with world-class hospitality.
Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Upon arrival at the Liberia airport in the northwestern part of Costa Rica, the driver will take us to our lodge for the next few days. The property is a large, secluded retreat surrounded by dense Dry Forest. Here we enjoy a natural hot spring river that crosses through the property and offers wonderful hideaways to relax. Dinner will be on your own to allow maximum flexibility for flight arrivals.
Day 2: Welcome to Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast – white water rafting here we come!
Today we will enjoy an exhilarating adventure; white water rafting (level II-III)! Afterward, we will enjoy lunch together. Then we will make our way to one of the rarest ecosystems in the Americas, which surrounds Rio Perdido. It consists of a lush jungle-like forest within the canyons, in contrast to a rare dwarf forest on the higher rocky grounds. We will head out on foot for an amazing sunset hike.
Day 3: Canyon Adventure at Rio Perdido
Because of the thickness of the vast forest surrounding Rio Perdido, it offers one the best areas for zip lining, Tarzan swinging, and rappelling. Feel the adrenaline rush as we combine each of these activities into one of your own jungle adventures. Afterward, we’ll have lunch and swap stories.
In the afternoon, we will journey to visit the exquisite Llanos del Cortez waterfalls.
Tonight, we will dine by the river surrounded by the sounds of the water and the forest.
Day 4: Hacienda El Viego Wetlands
After breakfast, we will make our way out to Palo Verde National Park. Enjoy a captivating journey amidst hidden trails and enticing rivers. We will take a canopy-covered boat out with our captain and search for some tropical species, rose spoon-billed or mythical Jabiru stork.
Day 5: Catamaran Tour
What better way to enjoy the sea than by heading out on a catamaran? We’ll enjoy snorkeling and even take a banana boat adventure ride (insert obvious banana joke here). Today’s tour features lunch and a leisurely afternoon. Once we return to El Mangroove we’ll have the rest of the day to ourselves.
Day 6: Rincon de la Vieja National Park
Enjoy a day of hiking with volcanic activity up close. Take in the views of the boiling mud pots, sulfur springs, steam vents, and fumaroles. There are abundant plants and wildlife in this tropical forest as well. Get a close view of an ancient forest, huge trees that protect spider monkeys, leaf-cutter ants, and more.
Day 7. A Day to relax or perhaps do even more
Wake up at the time of your choice: today is your lazy-beach bumming day!
Enjoy some wonderful activities today, or just relax Arrangements can be made for:
- A Golf Game at the Premium Arnold Palmer Course, arriving by boat!

Tonight we’ll come together for a warm farewell dinner at the delicious hotel restaurant.
