Tracking Trends as the World Emerges from COVID-19

June 7, 2020 by Philip Sheldon

Tracking-Trends-as-the-World-Emerges-from-COVID-19-HETravel-Blog-gay-tours

The last three months have been challenging for HE Travel, as with all our peers in the travel industry.   In mid-March, India had few known COVID-19 cases, but to be safe, we canceled the extensions for our Jewels of India tour. Our in-house flight specialists rerouted clients onto non-stop flights from Delhi to the US. This avoided the pandemonium in Europe the weekend that restrictions were applied to flights from Europe to the US. That same week we ended […]

Zachary’s Notes – May 2020 – Slowly Emerging From Quarantine

May 4, 2020 by Zachary Moses

Freedom is coming! I am deciding whether to go out of my house….here in Utah, Governor Herbert has dropped us from RED ALERT to ORANGE ALERT. This new alert is an in-between, and hopefully a sign of progress. Our bars and restaurants are open again, but everyone is in masks and wearing gloves. There are […]

My Honest Experience Eating the Impossible Burger in NYC

June 25, 2019 by Kwesi Talevera

Impossible burger with vegan bacon served with fries at MTHR in New York

When my Uncle Zach and I travel, we often worry about food. Both of us have eating restrictions, him being celiac and me being a vegan. As you can imagine, it can be difficult finding restaurants that can accommodate both diets. Since IGLTA, the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association, was hosting their 2019 travel […]

Sometimes Traveling Through History is Fun Alone

May 2, 2019 by Brian Moses

Jamestown So, a few months ago I was bored and flipping through channels on TV. Since I enjoy history I watch a lot of that type of shows. There was nothing on those channels either… I thought well now what am I going to do? Then I got to a channel that showed Historic Jamestown. […]

Oh Look, a Kangaroo! As we meander our way down the dirt roads of the outback, “Oh look, a kangaroo!” is repeated throughout the journey. Australia is full of unique surprises around every corner. “Look, an Emu!” as we continue our drive! Hieroglyphs Our journey today was a visit to see motifs that date back […]
