Zachary’s Notes – Reflections on the Changing Season and Antarctic Adventure – April: Last Minute Tour Updates

April 2, 2023 by Zachary Moses

As we welcome the month of April,

We also welcome the change of season. The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and the flowers are starting to bloom. It’s a time of renewal and growth, both in nature and in our own lives.

During the last month, I had an incredible experience in Antarctica. Being surrounded by such natural beauty and unique wildlife was truly humbling. It’s amazing to think that such a remote and seemingly untouched place exists in our world. It reminded me of the importance of preserving our environment and working together to protect our planet.

After returning home,

I had a bit of a setback while fixing my dock. I fell and dislocated several ribs on new joists I’d just hung…which was a painful reminder of the importance of taking care of ourselves and being cautious when undertaking physical tasks. It also served as a reminder of the importance of having a support system and seeking help when needed.

In the coming weeks,

I have a busy travel schedule ahead of me. First, I’ll be off to Indonesia to meet one of our tour groups. I’m excited to immerse myself in a new culture and learn more about the country’s history and traditions.

From there, I’ll be traveling to India, where I will meet up with Trisha for a travel show and familiarization of the Icons of India tour. I’m looking forward to exploring the sights and sounds of this vibrant country and meeting fellow travel professionals.

Finally, I’ll be heading to Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands to visit my sister. It will be a welcome break after a busy few weeks, and I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and relaxing in the sun.

As we navigate the changing season and all that it brings, let’s remember to embrace balance, growth, and reflection. Let’s also remember to take care of ourselves and seek help when needed. By doing so, we can make the most of this time of year and all the adventures it brings!

And speaking of adventures,

Our fall tours are filling up quickly!

We have limited availability for our Switzerland – Grindelwald hiking tour, departing on June 24th, 2023.

The Namibia – Gay African Travel Adventure tour, departing on September 7th, 2023.

As well as our Italy – Lake Como tour, departing on September 16th, 2023.

Also, for thrill-seekers,

Don’t miss out on our all-inclusive Splash! Grand Canyon Rafting tour, which is now $400 off through the month of April (departures in July and August only). It’s the perfect opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon while enjoying an exciting rafting adventure.

Happy travels and I hope to see you on tour!

Warmly,

Zachary Moses

About Zachary Moses

Zachary has done every job at HeTravel.com. He started in the marketing mailroom in 2010, and eventually worked his way up to serving 2 years on the board of directors for the National Tour Association and an additional two years serving as the CEO of HeTravel.com.

He ran for Governor of Utah as a Democrat in 2020, garnering international attention while running in this historically RED state.

During a 14-month long Pandemic-related forced "sabbatical," he returned to his passion of carpentry, having now restored several historic buildings. He also gave a TEDx talk in 2020 pitching an idea to save/restore the Great Salt Lake and other western saline lakes.

Zachary has returned to HE Travel, however, he is no longer the CEO and has now taken on the role of CXO or Chief Experience Officer.

Zach has been working with the company for more than a decade, and still leads tours, writes blogs, and speaks at international conferences.
