I’m currently in Mexico getting ready to host our Mexico City – Puebla Gay Cultural Tour. There are 8 guys in the group, which is within my favorite group sizes, so this should be a lot of fun! A Half-Century of Gay Travel
22 marks 50 years since HE Travel’s founder Hanns Ebensten put a small ad in New York’s After Dark arts magazine. Hanns’ future tour director Cal Culver (aka gay porn star Casey Donovan) appeared on their cover. Hanns invited “discerning gentlemen” to join him for a week in the Grand Canyon the following year, thus initiating a half-century of gay travel.
